Up and until very recently I was someone who would read just about everything I could find on health. My friends thought I had become a health and fitness nut and I suppose I had. If you were fat like me and then lost the weight, became fitter then you too might become fixated about your health and with staying fit and healthy.
I just had to keep up to date with every new exercise workout, diet ideas and supplements to help prolong my life. Articles on health just get on my nerves now because I can see them for what they are; designed to confuse the reader, contradicting what they say like clockwork. Take soy for example, one group of scientists tell you it’s good for you then another group say don’t touch it because it promotes the development of female hormones in men amongst other side effects. If you’re anything like me, there’s no mystery,We can get more information on Human Growth Hormone. we are just looking for the best way to eat healthily, keep fit and live a good long life.
Who and what are you supposed to believe when all you want to do is find a good healthy lifestyle. A prime example of these confusing contradictions is with coffee; chocolate and alcohol which we’re told were not good for you. It now turns out that red wine is good for you as well as dark beer, dark chocolate and coffee, all of which are quite good for you in moderation. It won’t be long before these same scientists are telling us that new research shows that cake, ice-cream and fast food are the best foods to eat to lower you cholesterol.
All that has come from this as far as I am concerned is a general disbelief of anything these so called health gurus say and I’ll look after myself than you very much. I am not going to stop reading articles on health because I still enjoy them but I do not intent to let them dictate how I should live my life. Still, I don’t doubt that reading the odd article on health will be worthwhile because I can pick up some good exercise tips and how to eat a balanced diet, the rest will be up to me. In some ways this new knowledge is a good thing because it hasn’t changed what I want from life, just made me reassess who I listen to if I want to achieve it.
